HasenRasen
On Easter Saturday, the Hauptstraße becomes an excursion destination for all children and families in Dresden again. At the big Easter spectacle “HasenRasen”, children will be able to prove their various skills from 11 to 4 o’clock.

Who is going to collect the most Easter eggs at the Hauptstraße? Who is going to be able to put an Easter egg through an obstacle course fast and save?

At both of these competitions every child will get an awesome Easter surprise. As main prices there are digital cameras, iPods and two trips with overnight stay at Tropical Islands.

Neustädter Frühling
From May 4th to 6th, the Hauptstraße changes into a big celebration area for the whole family. Various areas will present attractions for small and tall visitors. A varied stage program on the big stage at Goldener Reiter, Neustädter Markt completes the Neustädter Frühling. Welcome for the first great Dresden Open Air event of the year.

WeinSommer Dresden
You have the unique opportunity at the WeinSommer Dresden to inform yourself about Rheinland-Pfalz wines and the producing region. The winegrowers offer you a unique spectrum at types of vine and wine pleasures. You are welcome to try in a festive atmosphere what makes fun to you and to ask the winegrowers personally about what you always wanted to know about wine and the producing region of Rheinland-Pfalz.

14. City festival Dresden
From August 17th to 19th, the city of Dresden invites to the 14th Dresden city festival. The city festival offers various artistic and cultural highlights at numerous venues. With up to 400,000 visitors from near and distant as well as a various dealer supply the city festival belongs to the greatest celebrations in Germany. Look forward to the celebration area along the Hauptstraße with many traders and gastronomers and enjoy the international stage program on the Neustädter Markt directly at the Goldener Reiter.

17. Potter market Dresden
For all enthusiasts of ceramic the first weekend of September is planned tightly every year, because the Dresden potter market takes place on the Hauptstraße on September 1st and 2nd. It is one of the most attractive markets of highest quality in Germany. The 17th edition covers the complete frequency range of high-quality ceramic work: from dishes, artistic objects, garden ceramic and porcelain up to jewellery. 65 exhibitors from all over Germany represent almost all techniques which are applied in the contemporary ceramic. Enthusiasts of stoneware after a historical example as well come onto her expense, like the fans of effortful decorations or modern prints. Music, puppet theatres and marvellous delicacies will complete the program.

Familienfest Goldener Reiter
Dresden celebrates a big spectacle at the family celebration Goldener Reiter on October 2nd and 3rd, 2012. Already for the 20th time the family celebration Goldener Reiter takes place around the day of the German Unification. Many artists, traders and gastronomers convert the Hauptstraße on Tuesday and Wednesday into a celebration and strolling mile. With well-known singers and many bands of Dresden a varied stage program expects the visitors on the two days. Dresden celebrates at the family celebration Goldener Reiter in 2012, take part of it.

Christmas market at Hauptstraße
Welcome to one of the most beautiful Christmas markets of Dresden. The Christmas market Hauptstraße offers an unforgettable experience in lovely atmosphere to all citizens of Dresden and all tourists. This year approx. 80 dealers and gastronomers will be represented at Hauptstraße and at Goldener Reiter. The solemn opening takes place at Dreikönigskirche.
